Reston Century - 106 Glorious Miles

The Reston Century is 106 rolling country miles through small town USA west of Reston.  The rides starts at the Reston Town Center and travels through Herndon, Loudoun County, Leesburg, Lovettsville and a whole lotta smaller towns that barely warrant a zip code.  There was one town where I was preparing for Josey Wales to come walking down the street, it was that western looking. Wilderness 101 - July 30, 2011

The 11th annual Wilderness 101 is a mountain bike race covering 101 miles: 7 miles of roads, 10 miles of degraded forest roads, 56 miles of forest roads and 28 miles of trail. The race starts and end in Coburn, PA and is promoted by Shenandoah Mountain Touring (SMT).  Remind me to speak with an individual at SMT concerning pre-ride sanity checks.
